Medical Records:
Our Medical Records component contains additional information that supplements our Admissions/Intake in the MDS 2.0 Assessment module. Medical Records performs the following tasks:

Care Plans:
Care plans are the essential elements of good patient care and quality indicators. In the PPSLink software suite, they relate to the MDS Assessment and the comprehensive review of services rendered to the resident. Care plans identify problem areas that a resident is experiencing, and the suggested goals and approaches to remedy the condition.
Consolidated Billing:
Based on the actual nursing clipboard, this module records all levels of patient services, including supplies, medications, prescriptions, and therapy. Under the HCFA mandated UB-92 (Part B) billing requirements, all services provided must tie back to the latest MDS Assessment. This module integrates all appropriate charges into the billing cycle for the resident, and create the EDT (Electronic Data Transmission) file for submission. The latest HIPPA and HIPPS regulations will also be incorporated into the Consolidated Billing module.
A/R General Ledger Download:
This module automatically downloads data from the PPSLink UB-92 (consolidated billing) package to facility or corporate accounting software (accounts receivable), thereby creating a seamless integration and closed-end audit for reimbursements from State, Federal, and Private Insurance sources. No more hiring special programmers to write your interface. We also do other customization depending on the General Ledger program being used.
